I like to set goals. They keep me focused and looking towards the future. So with this awful winter in mind, I have been looking forward to warmer weather.
5 summer goals:
1. Camping outdoors
2. Sub-2Hr half marathon PR
3. Train for a full marathon
4. Kayaking trip
5. Save up for a new vehicle (jeep)
These are incredible goals. I'd never be able to do a half marathon, let alone a full one. I tried to take up running this past summer since my husband did a 10K. I figured it would give us something to do together. About three paces into my light jog, I came to a stop and started walking again since pain shot from my soles up my spine to my head. Running is not for me!
ReplyDeleteHow long would your kayaking trip be? What rivers are you thinking of hitting? Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteOh a marathon?!?!? WOW!!! I've run a few 5Ks and loved that. I don't think I have it in me to do more than that!! Love these goals. Makes me think I should create some of my own goals!! Happy Almost Spring!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for setting the goal of a marathon. It's quite the experience. I walked the Portland marathon in 2000. Can't wait for summer.
